The Mines and Geosciences Bureau-Cordillera Administrative Region renewed the Industrial Sand and Gravel (ISAG) permit of the Mountain Rock Aggregates (MRA) operating at Camp 6, Camp 4, Tuba, Benguet. Said permit is effective for a period of five years specifically from January 18, 2019 until January 17, 2024.
MRA is bound by the conditions of the permit based on Section 79 of the Department Administrative Order (DAO) 2010-21, which is the Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 7942 (The Philippine Mining Act of 1995) stating that the permit holder shall manage its operations in a technically and environmentally responsible manner to achieve a safe, non-polluting, and self-sustaining post disturbance landform, among others.
