LEPANTO BUILDING IN QUIRINO, ILOCOS SUR. The Mines and Geosciences Bureau-CAR (MGB-CAR) was witness to the turn-over of the 2-storey Lepanto Building in Quirino. Ilocos Sur, on October 9, 2019.
Dutifully funded by Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company (LCMC) through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) with an aggregated SDMP budget of PhP5,388,764.91 and community counterpart of PhP61,400.00, the edifice will house the executive and legislative departments of the municipal government. Honored through an indigenous ceremony that was spearheaded by the LGU Officials in partnership with the schools and members of the community, the turn-over was likewise graced by LCMC’s VP and Resident Manager, Thomas S. Consolacion and Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 1 (DILG-1) Regional Director Virgilio P. Sison. The bottom photo shows the MGB-CAR CAO II, Ma. Remedios G.
